Why Kyocera Knives & Graters?
Many people have asked us through the years why we carry kitchen products, such as Celtic Sea Salt and Kyocera grinders. "What does it have to do with your work as a dowser and spiritual teacher?" we're sometimes asked.
Well I can explain valid reasons for Celtic Sea Salt, but the real answer is that when I get excited about something, I like to share it with others. I love to cook, especially for others, and I love to eat. When we originally discovered Celtic Sea Salt, Jill and I liked it so much that we decided to sell it. That way we'd get a constant supply of unrefined Celtic Sea Salt, and we'd be helping others discover the health and taste benefits. More recently we began carrying Kyocera Ceramic Salt & Pepper Mills because ceramic is the best substance to use for grinding the salt, which is moist and will corrode metal grinders. When we learned we had access to Kyocera's entire line of ceramic kitchen products, we tried the Kyocera Ceramic Knives and Graters. We loved them! So now we're making them available to you.
We've used our Kyocera Ceramic knives almost every day for well over a year, and they are still very sharp. If they ever do need sharpening, you just return them to Kyocera and they'll sharpen them for free. All you pay is a modest shipping fee. Do not try to sharpen Kyocera Ceramic Knives yourself! It won't work and you'll destroy the knives.
As for the Kyocera Ceramic Graters, we have been looking for a good, small ginger grater for years to make a favorite homemade Terriyaki Sauce recipe. Most graters don't work well for ginger. Then I learned a great Asian recipe for Ginger Sauce, and we needed a larger grater. Kyocera Ceramic Graters are ideal for both purposes, and much more.
